In dit artikel lichten we toe wat hypochondrie is, wat de oorzaak kan zijn, hoe u het herkent, de mogelijke gevolgen ervan en hoe hypochondrie behandeld kan worden.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.23.1&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2><b>Wat is hypochondrie<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.23.1&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hypochondrie is een angststoornis waarbij personen overmatig bezorgd zijn over hun gezondheid en er voortdurend van overtuigd zijn een ernstige ziekte te hebben, zelfs wanneer daar geen medische aanleiding toe is. Personen met hypochondrie kunnen hun lichaam voortdurend controleren op tekenen van ziekte en plannen vaak consultaties bij een arts in, ondanks geruststellende resultaten.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.23.1&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2><b>De oorzaak van ziektevrees<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.23.1&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Er is geen eenduidige oorzaak voor hypochondrie gekend. Vaak gaat het om een combinatie van factoren die een rol spelen en die per persoon kan verschillen:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Genetische factoren kunnen een rol spelen en er lijkt bij sommigen een genetische aanleg te bestaan.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Psychologische factoren, zoals een verhoogde gevoeligheid voor lichamelijke sensaties en een neiging tot angst, kunnen een rol spelen.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eerdere (medische) ervaringen zoals trauma of het meemaken van ernstige ziekten in de familie kunnen een bijdrage leveren.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Opvoeding kan een rol spelen in het ontstaan van hypochondrie.
